Birding at Sultanpur

Sultanpur bird sanctuary needs to introduction and is an equal favourite with its avian and human visitors alike! Dusshera holiday saw a  group of us head off for an early morning walk and a Dhabha session later. Some of my shots as captured that day!

A Purple Heron, sagily perusing its next prey while it stands resolute in the shallow waters!

  1. Wow! I loved the pictures,Shalini! It’s always great to capture birds in their own backyard. I have never been to Sultanpur bird sanctuary, so I’m marking it in my “to visit” places list. 🙂 🙂
