Another card on deep breathing and how noticing one’s breath can help one calm down. I was a bit sceptical when I started out on this one as I am regularly doing meditation and Anulom Vilom and was wondering why another similar trick?
It started out as familar; I placed one forefinger under the nostril to feel my breath blowing warmly on it and closed my eyes to begin. I had set a ten minute timer on the phone to watch the time.
First few breaths, the sensation of the warmth felt good against my finger and then gradually I felt my self loosening up. First the shoulders and then the upper back just sort of melted a bit. I was reminded of the time I was riding a camel; up one moment and down the next in a gentle undulation – that’s what I started to experience with each in and out of the breath.
My breathing started getting deeper and deeper and I was letting out longer too. A sweet calm descended on my mind and it was as if I would start to float any minute now. What was happening?
It was just like this card read – I was breathing in love and trust while letting go of my fears and anxiety with each breath out.
Have you ever experienced anything like this in your life? Whats your favourite breathing technique?

Hey Sunaina – thanks so much! Yeah the messages on these cards are really beautiful…
Great message and love how you’ve explained it, Shalini. Thank you.
Thanks so much Corinne
I’ve never tried meditation or yoga, or breathing exercises. This sounds like something we all need here in the United States.
Breathing exercises are just amazing. If you need help to start them, let me know Alana – happy to help 🙂
