Your thoughts are the foundation of your success or failure. Thoughts are of two kinds – positive thoughts and negative thoughts. Have you noticed that positive thoughts always keep you in joy and happiness??? And negative thoughts always keep in guilty and sadness??? Negative thoughts will pull you down and negative thoughts when expressed as words will lead to many problems.

Mind Your Thoughts
Every thought in your mind will create energy. Positive thoughts create positive energy and negative thoughts create negative energy. Even negative thinking in your mind may make you as a cruel person. So avoid negative thoughts at anytime.
Be Positive Always
Nothing under the sky is a problem. Keep your positive spirit high. Get constructive feedbacks from your friends. Aim for higher chances. Maintain good relationship with your family and friends. Replace negative thoughts with positive affirmations or self talks such as I’m Strong, I’m powerful and I’ll Achieve. Repeat often these affirmations and get energized. Positive mental attitude will make you tension free.
De-clutter Your Mind
Keep only positive memories in your mind. Forget and erase all negative memories. Anger and disappointment will drain your energy. So relieve the burden of pain and let go. Share and rejoice about only sweet memories often. Look into old photo albums or mails. It will bring sweet memories and energy to you. all a friend over phone. Chit chatting with him / her makes you feel relaxed and refreshed.
Be Humorous
Humor is infectious and contagious. When laughter is shared, it binds people together and increases happiness and intimacy. Humor and laughter strengthen your immune system, boost your energy, reduces pain, and makes you free from stress. Being happy gives you satisfaction. Man who forget to laugh is like an animal. Laughter reduces stress and have many other benefits. Develop your sense of humor – Take life less seriously. Join some Laughter Yoga Classes or Comedy Clubs.
Daily 40 minutes
Based on your age, try to spend 40 minutes on some activity you are interested in. Being really happy is more important than any achievements Chat with your friends. I love to read, write, blog and cook. Listening to music helps to relax myself from any stress. Surround yourself with positive people.
Get Up Early
Getting up early will give you more time and energy. Start your day pleasantly and positively by spending some time in your prayers, doing yoga, listening to music, having your cup of hot coffee and get refreshed. Plan your day by writing the to-do list and marking their priorities. This will help you finish your works on time with zero tension.
Happiness Start With You
Energy from your thoughts is more powerful to keep yourself and your family happy. Dedicate some time for meditation daily. Always keep smiling and be happy. Eat together once with family every day. Play with kids. Spend quality time with your loved ones. Gift your loved ones with your presence rather than presents.
Relax To Refresh
Idle mind is devil’s workshop. So always be cheerful and active. Learn new language. Join new classes. Enjoy nature. Read good books. Make something useful as art from waste. Listen to music and dance. Cook for your family.
Be Grateful
Keep a gratitude journal. Start writing about happy moments, your gratitude lists and ideas daily. Start your personal blog and write your heart out. Write kindness stories and publish them. Create poems and sing with tune. Make a personalized album of your family with your funny and lovely comments. Be grateful for your life. We maintain a Happy Journal in our family. We record all our happy moments of this year in it. During December 31, we will read all those blessings and welcome the next year.
Be Mindful
Mindfulness is being aware of present. Cultivating the practice of mindfulness can be a powerful way to train our minds and tune into the beauty of here and now. Be mindful always. Practice Metta Meditation or Loving-kindness Meditation. “Metta” means directing good will and love towards all human beings. This form of meditation aids us in developing an attitude of kindness and compassion, especially for the people we are on bad terms. This meditation helps us to overcome anger, resentment, and hurt.
7 Step Action Plan To Purify Your Thoughts
- List out all your negative thoughts.
- Try to replace those with positive thoughts.
- Spend 5 minutes daily to recollect happy moments on that day.
- Engage yourself with puzzles, riddles and sports.
- Do self-evaluation often.
- Count your blessings.
- Be happily satisfied with your life.

Great pointers. Just last night I had this negative thought which ruined my mental peace. It was thinking happy positive thoughts and counting my blessings made me change the direction of my thoughts. Good to see Vasantha on your blog, Shalini!!

I know being positive is definitely easier said than done for me on most days. But its something I’ll try my best to work on.
