Breathe meaning praana or life

Breathe just breathe – A given at any panic situation. First thing that comes to the mind while consoling someone or calming them down.

Breathe– meaning give yourself some space and don’t be so hard on yourself.

Watch your breath and focus on just that- a counsel one hears during meditation sessions

Multifold pranayam exercises , all of which focus on how to inhale and exhale and use the breath to rid the body of toxins and calm the mind.

Breath in and breathe out to cool down the body after a workout.

Yes breath is an important crucial part of life which can help us elevate our life to another level with just a few simple practice, measures, exercise.

Breath can help us calm the mind by ridding anxiety and stress from our life.

Yet how we ignore this simple practice in our daily life. How difficult we find it to incorporate a small routine in our eternally busy life.

I have started to do it and am reaping the benefits of:
♥ A calmer mind that reacts slow to innuendos
♥ A logical mind that doesn’t rise up to defend criticism
♥ A peaceful mind that lets chatter subside before analysing on it
♥ A content mind that is unaffected by numbers and appreciates single as unique

What is your breathing technique? Do you think it works for you?

  1. I so agree with you! It’s so important that we concentrate on our breathing – a process that gets ignored, forgotten in our everyday lives. The one thing that gives us the energy to live life gets sidelined as we strive to concentrate on bigger issues.
I practise Yoga and have observed how breathing has helped me stay calmer. I can very well make out the difference in myself from what I was an year ago. All thanks to pranayaam.
